Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh  Khan are rivals in their acting profession, now they extend their rivalry to  brand endorsements.

Aamir is the face of Tata Sky and Shah Rukh Khan endorses Dish TV. Aamir takes his duties of endorsing seriously and was present at Tata’s Sky’s product launch on Tuesday. Asked how he looks at the competition from Dish TV, Aamir joked and said, “Dish TV? Woh Kya Hai?”

To a question whether it becomes more difficult for him to act in advertisements when his adversary is Shah Rukh and Aamir said, “I don’t follow others. I do what I feel is right. I only concentrate on what I have to do.”

Asked if his brand was more for classes than the masses, Aamir replied, “That is not true. I believe in quality of the brand that is being promoted. I am a mass hero and I too have mass appeal.”
Behind the lighthearted missives , there is strong competition between the Khans.

Shah Rukh Khan delivered two super hits last year with Om Shanti Om and Chak De India while Aamir Khan impressed with his directorial debut Taare Zameen Par that is also going to the Oscars.

Shah Rukh Khan can boast of box office success and Aamir Khan of critical acclaim. Now the rivalry spills over to brand endorsements.

Like most Karan Johar films, Kurbaan also features America. Kareena is based in the US and comes back to her hometown Delhi when her father suffers a heart attack. She meets Saif Ali Khan, a Delhi University Professor and falls for him. There is romance in the air and the couple gets married. They go back to USA with dreams of a new family life. Kareena discovers that her husband is not a professor but a mastermind terrorist who used her to protect his identity. Saif figures out that Kareena has found his true identity and puts her under house arrest.
Enter Vivek Oberoi – The high profile TV journalist who works with a big news network in USA. Kareena gets to know that Saif Ali Khan and his men are planning to hijack and bomb an airplane. The same plane which Vivek’s fiancee (played by Dia Mirza) is going to board soon for some assignment. The rest of the film is about how Kareena with the help of Vivek tries to save the lives of passengers onboard.
