The Electronic document management system (EDM) refers to a process computer to organize and manage information and electronic documents within an organization .It mainly implements systems acquisition, classification, storage , to archiving documents (example of use: the digitization of paper documents mass).The GOL participates in the process of collaborative work, funding and information exchange.It is an objective process that follows the life cycle of the document. The GED can help save time and money for great organizations. Indeed, it allows the indexing of documents and especially the digitization compressing the “volume of paper.” The EDM uses statistical algorithms to classify and retrieve documents by relevance. According to a study serdaLAB’s laboratory group studies Serda, the market for ged and content management reached 1.1 billion euros in 2008, up 8%.
