Step #1

The first thing you should do is check if the domain you want is available, if its not than try to find one that is available. You can go to www.hostgator.com/domains or www.name.com to check. They also give you hints or suggestions on different domains.

Step #3

Ok now that you have a domain that is available to being registered, Put it in the box and click on “Go”.

Step #4

After you have clicked on the “Go” button you will be taken to another page just like the one below. Now this is important you have to follow this step its IMPORTANT. Make sure you check the box that states “Yes, I am a small business owner”. That’s the only way to get the domain for free. After you have done this click on the “Add to cart” button.

Step #5

Now you will be taken to a page like the one below. You see a charge of $11.00, all you have to do is click on the “remove” link next to the $11.00, that’s for private domain registration. Don’t touch the other one. Leave it alone, go below to check out the next picture of how it should look like and for more steps.

Step #6

Ok now after you have removed the $11.00 charge for private domain registration you have something that looks like the picture below. You have a total charge of $0.00. Click on the “Proceed to checkout” Button to go to the next page. On the next page click on the “Create a new account” Button and put in your information. Don’t forget to check the box that says “This domain is for a company”. For the company information just make up a company and an address, they don’t check it. When your done click on the “Continue” Button.

Step #7

Ok the next page is for the payment option. YOU WILL NOT GET CHARGED. All you have to do is put your real information. Use your credit card and for the billing information use your real information so that the transaction goes through. Check the box that you agree and click on Submit Order then you will be taken to the thank you page like the one below.

Step #8

Your almost done, now all you have to do is stop the Auto Renew of the domain payment. You will be charged $35.00 next year, so follow these instructions for not getting billed. All we will do is stop the Auto Renew : ) Login into your account and once you login you will see something like the picture below.

Click on the “Active” link next to the domain you just have gotten. Then you will be taken to another page like the one below.

Now Click on the “Yes” link next to the domain you have gotten. Then you will be taken to another page like the one below.

This is really easy to do.

• You have to Uncheck the box like I have in the picture above, then click on the “Update” button.
• A small box will come up, click on the “Update” button again.
• And finally all you have to do now is click on the “Continue” button and your done. That’s it your done. Now all you have to do is change the domain DNS to your server DNS and add the domain to your server and your done

Here are a couple tips on making more domains.

1. Make a new account with every new domain you make!
2. Always clear your cookies every time you make a new one.
3. Only make 1 domain a day to keep you safe so you can keep doing this.
4. Use your real credit card and billing information and Don’t forget to change the Auto Renew of the domain so you don’t get billed for it.
